Unless I've missed something this is the very first time I've heard a possitive response concerning the Iron Man score.
And Jordi, if you like it that's all that counts. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

It functions in the movie, but on album the only listenable cue is Merchant Of Death. -

Now playing Bregovic's "Dom za vesanje" (Time of the gypsies).
Doesn't get more gypsy than this.

I think "Vacation's over" is ok as well. Very generic, but also entirely listenable.

Heartfelt music. I remember watching the brilliant trilogy of movies back in my teen years. It made a tremendous impression on me.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Never watched it. Might try it out though, if it's that good.
I just got the album because I had heard alot about it. It's an acquired taste, but it's very decent music.

If you're able to connect with the theme of the movies, which are considered as classics pretty much, at least in Europe, you'll never listen to that music in the same way again. It works wonders in the movie, especially during some very moving passages.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Isn´t Valentine´s Day a great idea?
First, I think it´s a fantastic score.
Second, unless you have a wife that buys you any score at all, shut up.
Third, Valentine´s Day hasn´t even started yet and it already rules. I plan for more things to come.
@ Timmer: You missed something. Iron Man´s score enhances RDJ´s coolness in that movie, and if I want to feel like I´m driving a silver sportswagon, guess which score I´ll play? -

Ralph, i am teasing you. If you like that, that's what matters. I think it's a very problematic score but that's just me, it's you who got the present after all My gf bought me a Prodigy vinyl though, fat of the land, which i happen to enjoy greatly too so i know the feeling
As for IRON MAN, it made the movie sound like teenage aimed crap; i hope Debney will take into more kick ass territories.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I think it´s a score that works very well in the context of the movie, and if you like that one, chances are this score will grow on you. It´s so NOT my usual style, but its quirkyness has a certain charme that makes me just smile. I had to give it a couple of listens to get that far (thanks to that Warner site, I was able to), but now it has really sunk in, and I love it.

Aren´t we guys just lucky?
I got her another Doctor Who audio book read by David Tennant, who is her current choice for "favourite actor"-crush. I take her happy jumping and screaming as a sign that I hit the mark, too.

I don´t think this rock stuff is teenage-exclusive. I liked it for what it was.
i hope Debney will take into more kick ass territories.
I think we already were there, but if he enhances on that feeling, I´m all for it. -

NP: The Wolfman - Elfman
This is so very impressive!
What a week for amazing, dark textured scores with this and Bioshock 2! -
- CommentTimeFeb 14th 2010
Is Bioshock 2 available anywhere else at the moment other than with the "special edition" of the game?
Or is everyone listening to rips from this CD?
I didn't think that a release was due out yet in any other format. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

NP: The Walfmon (Denny Alfman)
Funny what a difference four letters can make!
I'm in the middle of this, and liking it. The main theme gave me a chuckle. It wouldn't do this for anyone else, but part of it reminds me of Gabriel Yared's war fanfare for the Greeks in TROY, and another part reminds me of Christopher Young's GHOST RIDER.
I do like it though!A butterfly thinks therefore I am -

Sorry, my mistake. I was referring to your comment about no one saying that score is good before. I did so on many occasions. I just failed to include that into my answer. -

Scrobbling trough the Vladimir Cosma box. I'm almost half way. Highlights are the suites that are included at he end of almost each presented score. There's some fabulous material, like the Concerto de Berlin or The Jaguar. Also crap is included, like the aforementioned terror that is called Diva.Kazoo -

NP : Percy Jackson & the Olympians : The Lightning Thief - Christophe Beck
First listen ...
I'm about 5 tracks in and loving it ...
Very symphonic - no electronics at all which is a relieve ...
Are we discovering another side of Beck ?"Simplicity is the key to brilliance" -
