LOST (Spoilers!)

Well, we never knew that the Losties would go back in time and attempt to change things! So, if nothing changes or if SOME things change, then the story just carries on as it was. There are still plenty of things to be resolved, so I wouldn't say that the past 5 seasons were useless. Maybe the bomb was the incident after all. Maybe the Losties are the cause that their plane crashes in the first place. Or maybe even if the incident doesn't take place, something else will happen that will lead to the same scenario, highlighting the idea that whatever is meant to happen will happen. It is still a noble effort from them to change things.

In fact, I consider this a lot more important event (even if nothing changes) than the pushing of the button, which I find completely useless. They could have used the safe key in the first place, blow up everything and all would be fine (and no-one would actually die, as Desmond proved!).

I'll admit, I do enjoy this show very much, there's clearly nothing quite like it on TV at the moment (or perhaps ever). But the plot, as you say, has become a little messy. I do miss the days of the first season when there was genuine fear of the unknown. That was some excellent television, really got the imagination going.

Well it still IS great tv, nothing else like it as you said, tv at its finest as i say; But i DO however have fears about its ending. Being the achievement of the magnitude LOST really is, i have doubts they will be able to end it up as brilliantly as they've started it, satisfying and paying off the audience's devotion and time (6 years is long) adequately at the end. Let's wait, hope and see.

Who is that ILANA (LIANA, whatever) bitch and her crew btw? That big guy who carries the coffin with Locke in with the others and follows her directions blindly is the same guy who kidnapped Sayid ( was it him? can't remember) back in LA in a black van and tried to convince him not to go back? And he was then too talking about how they were the good guys..

You are talking about Bram... And wasn't it Miles he had kidnapped and tried telling him he was on the wrong side and not to go work for Widmore?

Illana and co. are working for Jacob as we saw in the finale, so I guess they will join forces with Richard and co. now.... It makes me wonder who Caesar was (or still is) though...

Bram, Illana and Caesar were all in flight 316. Bram was the one in the van who kidnapped Miles. He is now working with Illana. Caesar was the one going through the documents in Hydra and who got shot by Ben. He was in first-class in 316.

Well, Jacob recruited Illana as we saw, but it still remains to find out her past, eg. why she was hospitalised, and what her relationship with Jacob was, as she recognised him. I came to believe that Illana and co. came to join forces with the Others. They are perhaps "off-island Others".

The point was that we now wonder whether there was any point to him, and then later on they will reveal what the point was and we will be like, "oh, so that was why Ben shot him!"

Or like the totally useless couple of the hot blonde chick and the "look at me i look like a male underwear model" bf of her that got buried in the ground and with them, there had gone our fun for a whole week.

As for the finale of s5, i really enjoyed it; back to familiar awe-inspiring and intense with pathos territories. Hope they keep up in s6 and hopefully they'll learn by their mistakes with this so-so season that has just left us.

I personally liked Nikki and Paolo and wish we had seen more of them... I thought it was a pleasant change to see a couple of the background survivors as well and show that some others were active too... I also thought their death was the most horrible of all and no-one deserves that!! Except maybe Ben... :p

Season 4, and no, it's the strongest by far!
