"The Last Chase"
By: Gil Melle
I was hoping for more. It has some nice moments, but the orchestration colors don't vary a whole lot, little experimentation, and the writing is fairly, well, simple -- not what I was expecting from the middle of a composer's career.
I'm going to take those enjoyale moments and make a suite or two.
This boot has some cues clumped into un-edited suites, one over 20 minutes long, and at one point during the first cue, the volume level drops down. I'm going to compare it all to the film, note what's missing, what's different, name the cues, fix the volume in that cue, and some of the quieter early cues, edit the cues lumped into suites, and make a far better version.
Anybody who's interested in this new version, can PM me.The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

"Conversation Piece" is a highlight. I also really like the 7 or 8 tracks that sound exactly like "The Streets" -
