    Nah! It's just a really irritating vocal noise I can do and I know it winds her up, just a long running "joke" between us but as Martijn points out, there's a time when wisdom IS the best option. wink

    Apparently the access phone number was the cause of the problem. I finally went into the internet connections and changed the number and now it works fine for me.

    A lot of my friends at work got made redundant today. No warning, just gone. Admittedly we all knew it was coming eventually, but it doesn't really hit you until the whole department goes into a room and they say they've made cut backs.

    And as bad as it makes me feel, I just have to keep reminding myself that no matter how much it's going to suck from now on, I still have a job. sad

    Bad news. Not a happy atmosphere at our place either. They've announced 500 redundancies, but it's over the next couple of years. I won't be one of them, but I'm sure some people I know will be.

    And I've got several friends who work at HBOS. UK readers can imagine how they've been feeling for the last couple of months.

    Still, I try to look on the bright side. I'm still employed (for now!) and lots of places have recession-inspired sales on!

    Well, antibiotics should be taken with extreme care if no other solution is around the corner. Maybe that's why.

    Not always but usually there is an infection which is why the damn thing hurts until you get older. I've got one right now that I can live with but is cracked below the gumline.

    For a road widening project in our area (which I believe is nothing but an expected vote magnet for the current government) the municipal guys here are wiping off almost all the trees in our neighbourhood, including several over 50 years old, almost 100 feet tall ones. Not that I'm against urban development but this feels very bad, especially because the afforestation here after this is negligible...

    Thanks for thinking of me, but unfortunately not yet. I'm going to see the dentist in the afternoon. Right now it is a minor pain but last night it was terrible. In spite of the medicine she prescribed.
