What's made my day better? Wall-E, The Dark Knight (in BluRay) and a girl. Yep, that pretty much sums it up... -

The big rain that came through San Diego (more rain in one day than the whole year combined) hit Vegas with a fury they've never experienced. I'm using an air cleaner now that I've managed to clean up most of the water. I hope it gets rid of that musty odor.

Or at least it would make my day if I could summon the energy to make it

Tough night Tim? And what´s more important: has beer anything to do with it?

Well done you!
I would be envious if 1) I knew anything at all about cars (four wheels. Steer. That's it.) and 2) I actually had a driver's license.

My experience with Greek drivers is that they are very skilled and quite safe drivers.
My experience with Greek roads is that one would prefer to fly.
So good luck!!

I took a taxi to the airport once, and I never stood there faster than anything else. The red lights we drove through I forgot to count after a while

Reminds me of a taxi ride I had in San Francisco. Driving at high speed over those hills and down alleyways. It was late at night so observing the speed limit wasn't too much on the cab driver's mind.
I'm not sure whether this happened or not now but I do have a memory of the taxi becoming airborne at one point. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Reminds me of the crazy taxi drivers in Beijing. Just drive and see what happens. Even when there's a sudden group of 267 bikers, keep on moving, eventually we'll pass!Kazoo -

Sounds a bit Steeve McQueen / Bullit
Driving at 70 mph through the desert on the way to the Grand Canyon on a massively long straight and "empty" desert road when suddenly a patrol car appears out of nowhere, this guy must have been hiding behind a boulder waiting for some sorry ass to speed by, I put on my very best "I say officer, jolly sorry about that, one won't speed again" posh accent ( which wouldn't have fooled any Brit ) and said I thought it was the KPH speed limit, luckily he didn't do the math and let me off
