How were you introduced to him Erik? Were you asked to film one of the gigs or did you know him some other way?
Wrote an email to Ford Thaxton asking how I could get my hands on this Medal od Honor score that was getting great reviews. Ford emailed Michael, Michael emailed me and sent the disc. I wrote back after playing the album on the show and thanked him for sending it. He was honored that I played the score on the program and said that if I wanted to I could fly to Seattle and join him at the Underground sessions. I said yes, and the rest is history.

Unless your first initial is E. and your last name begins with the name of a precious metal...or if you are a fan of the works of said individual...then he gives you money to stay away.I love you all. Never change. Well, unless you want to! -

Looks like I'll have to re-think my plans to take my best friend Eugene Platinum to a Bates session. -

I love the Secret Weapons Over Normandy music video!
Beautifully filmed and edited!
You get to observe all the sections of the orchestra as they play their specific parts of the theme.
Wonderful stuff!
All the videos are great! What a record!
Well done Erik! -

Unfortunately the trick with most people is to get to know them before they become big. When they're big, every fan is as generic as the next. -

Recently, composer Michael Giacchino recorded his score to the upcoming big-screen comedy, Land of the Lost, based on the classic television series. Using an 88-piece orchestra and 35-person choir, ScoringSessions.com is excited to bring our readers exclusive photos from the scoring sessions!

Thanks! I'm quite looking forward to Land of the Lost, my only concern would be a big amount of Mickey Mousing to interrupt the adventurous feel, but Silberling never really let me down score-wise in the past (never too goofy, but with a pleasant amount of goofness nonetheless). Not long anymore 'till we will know! -

I'm also pleased to hear banjos are in it, hopefully confirming a wickedly stupid rendition of the old TV show theme. -

Now I was perfectly happy there were no stupid * thingies leading to small typing in the bottom of the backcover stating Giacchino used that lame, out-dated, horrid tv-show-theme. I mean, have you actually heard it? -
