NP - Indy IV
Let me just say now - Kung Fu Panda is a hell of a lot better than this sorry effort for an Indy score.
It's going harsh!
Of course, IM AGREE! and Lost 3 , Speed Racer ,Horton and narnia too....
Lost season 3 is the best damn thing that's come out in ages.
Apart from Lost, do you actually like anything these days? You seem to have a lot to complain about!
Anthony, why not put the Powell, Williams and Giacchino away for a while and play something DIFFERENT!?
There's a person or two here who seem to be continually pressing 'Replay' button on their scores over and over and over, and on such a mediochre composer. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Charming and tender. Very underrated IMO.
NP Hollow Man (Jerry Goldsmith)
A little break after two days of Kung Fu Panda.
Not the best Goldsmith but I find the main theme pretty hypnotic and good action stuff.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

What is the order? I can't work out where half the tracks go (namely all the stuff at the beginning!).
Edit: I quoted the wrong person! -

You're both right. What I meant to say was that Kung Fu Panda is the best score to come out in years. Nothing could possibly be more perfect about it. -

Nobody's saying it's the best score to come out in years, but we are saying it's a lot of fun. I'm also saying you have something negative to say for just about anything and it's a little tiresome. -

Do you think I want to be saying these negative things? I don't want scores to be bad any more than you do, but I can't control the fact that a lot of what's come out recently has been quite a dissapointment compared to past years.
As fur Kung Fu Panda, when did I say it was not fun? Jordi asked the question of "what's wrong with it?" and I replied.
When someone says something is "perfect" after having it for a day, they don't seem to be heavily questioned into why they think that, but when I have a problem with something and I'm asked to elaborate why, I turn into Mr. Gloom and Doom. -

NP - Ocean's Thirteen - David Holmes
A tough competitior to Ocean's Eleven. I can't decide which I prefer! This has some really funky cues (Not Their Fight, S**! S**t! S***!, Snake Eyes), but some equally annoying ones (Laptops, Zippos). I think I can overlook these and put it in the top position. -
