    Exactly... rolleyes

The best explanation there currently is is that Tony was clearly bugged a few episodes back, as Bill and Chloe heard Emerson telling him to kill Jack. But it still doesn't explain how or when Tony or Jack managed to whisper "she's buried at the north end of the construction site". Lazy writing.

Episode 7...another craptacular piece of work. An insane gunfight (Bill, Tony and Jack getting into the building was pretty cool though), Dubaku escaping from every US agency ON A TRAIN, the Prez tells Ethan that Dubaku is safe, but FAILS to mention the CIP device has been destroyed. And what a CRAP cliffhanger. Dubaku's random girlfriend?! WHAT THE HELL!?

This is just as bad as season 6, just with different aesthetics.

"How will Dubaku carry out his terrorist mission while keeping his commitment to his wife/girlfriend to have dinner with her?! Can't wait to see how these next few hours play out!"

Best comment I've seen regarding the whole season. biggrin

Agree. Pretty average episode, although it´s always great to see Bill in action.
Ratings are still good though: 6.6/10

Avoid the official 24 forums if you use them. Trolls are about posting spoilers. And it doesn't look good if they are true.

Edit: And after watching the trailer again, I see it's going to happen. Let's just say the Chinese taking over CTU last season isn't going to compare to how bad this season's hostage is going to be. rolleyes slant

What!? I thought episode 8 was the strongest since episode 3! And you know what made it good? The fact that for the first time in God knows how long we had a "we have to fix this in the hour or we're FUCKED" story. That's the 24 we need! Either I have weird tastes, or the rest of the world are complete nut jobs! biggrin

    Really? Nice!
I have to watch it yet. I´ve decided to watch 24 on thursday, once I have the Lost episode. That double session is priceless.

Callery's music again was not your standard 24 music...

    ...it was good!

Anyway, this episode actually made the past three episodes (which I despised) seem relevant. It all tied together nicely and had a satisfying if not ("yay!...oh") conclusion. Next week the build up episodes will start again.

Ok the temptation was too strong. Shame on me shame tongue

    Great, great episode! Highlights:

1 - The meeting between the President, Bauer, Bill, Kenan and Renee in the Oval Office. One of those 24 BIG gatherings.
"How am I suposed to know where your loyalties really lie?"
"With all due respect Madame President, ask around" punk

2 - Renne is so hot using Bauer´s methods love

3 - Taylor´s rescue. As you say, a yay! finale.

4 - The short, although intense, dialogue between Jack and Moss. The "Are you going to give me the car keys?" was probably the best answer to Moss´s devastating statement about Jack.

5 - Callery is really inspired in this episode. Hope it continues this way.

By the way, is next episode pre or post writers strike?

I actually shouted "yay!" when Bauer did his slide, and then just let out a disappointing "oh sad " when the bad guy got a shot off. I feel sorry for the First Geezer's finger too. Dubaku is a c**t and I can't wait for Jack to kick the shit out of him.

There's so many scenes I've forgotten about in this episode too:

    - Jack's fight with Vossler.
    - GTA style "GET OUT OF THE CAR!" hijacking.
    - No Tony - I actually like this format a lot where main characters come in every other episode for example.
    - Symbolism! - Jack, Moss and Walker duke it out in front of a big pool of water. tongue

Post, so it could either go up or down. Haircuts could change too. tongue

Yeah, great slide moment (if I´m not mistaken this is not the first time we´ve seen Bauer doing it?).

I agree; short, but rough and well shot.

And the previous Vossler chase is pretty good too, maybe not because of its spectacularity but the tension generated by the time limit.

Walker and a pool. Just that could make my day (preferably if she gets in and out the pool lick ).

Season 4 when he's infiltrating the base where Heller is being held, and season 6 when he's chasing after Cheng after the CTU assault. Maybe more.
