We hiked to the top of a 1141m high mountain today. It started with excellent weather, but when nearing the top clouds gathered and they decided to unleash a snow storm. Felt like -15 degrees or so. Never experienced such cold and wind. Jesus.

    But it was fun.

Today has been a fantastic day here in my hometown Grimstad - sparkling sun glittering in the snow.

Check out some of the pics I put in the "Christmas Mood" album at facebook:

I especially like how the summer resort things, like the beach volleyball field, is covered in snow.
    I am extremely serious.

    Brrrrrr..... freezing

-22 degrees Celsius today, as I drove back to Oslo from my hometown. I took this pic from the car, and you can literally "see" the cold - the colours of the sky, the moon, the sharp light, the frost on the window:

It's expected to be even colder tomorrow, on New Year's Eve.

Oh, I dunno. With D's link above yours, I feel all hot and bothered. love

A cozy -6.5 here. Quite (n)ice, actually. Once the water's out of the air, it deosn't feel half as cold as when it's +1 (especially with a bit of a breeze.)
(If I had my druthers, I'd still move to Greece, though.)

In Greece on Easter day traditionally we roast a lamb, which is pretty tasty! lick
So, my friends have been making fun of me telling me that since my birthday is on Easter day they are not going to make a cake for me but rather put the candles on the lamb. smile
