NP: HUNTING HIGH AND LOW (a-ha)

    Classic 80's quality electropop!

    My favourite a-ha track!

Yeah, I guess I could have put it in the NP scores thread technically but this was the concert arrangement.

The best songs on The Living Daylights are the two songs by The Pretenders, particularly the really ballsy Where Has Everybody Gone. Maybe you should give the score a spin sometime Tom, it's one of Barry's best Bond's.

Chinese Democracy - Guns n' Roses

Axl Rose (the only original member left now) repeats some of the vocal and instrumental baroque flourishes already in evidence on the Use Your Illusion CDs, but it all falls rather flat. Not offensive to listen to, but not very interesting either. This will be moved off the ol' iPod at my next sync.
It wasn't worth the 15 year wait.

I've never been much of a fan but your view coincides with my friends who love them.

The Blue Notebooks - Max Richter

Modern classical music, where urban lounge fuses with minimalist string sections and a jazzy twist.
Moody, but very interesting and quite addictive.
