NP: STAY ON THESE ROADS (a-ha)

More smooth electropop. Gotta love the catchy "Touchy!". This is the album with the Bond song, by the way.

The Blue Notebooks - Max Richter

Modern classical music, where urban lounge fuses with minimalist string sections and a jazzy twist.
Moody, but very interesting and quite addictive.

Is this part of the metrosexual scene?

NP: CINEMA SYMPHONY...ANDREW PEARCE Boy this is a departure for movie score for sure. This is some serious classical work that is going to require some listens to get it right. But for sure you can hear the Stravinsky influence. Wish I had more background material but in this case Mikael provided little information.
    listen to more classical music!

    NP: Last FM radio

For everyone who don't know what this is, it's a brilliant online concept. Check it out at http://www.last.fm/dashboard/ . You type in whatever artist you like, and it plays songs that are SIMILAR to that artist. For example, you write "John Williams" and it will play film music that sounds like John Williams untill you press the Stop button. Full tracks, one from each album, great quality. No, you can't download the tracks, but it's really a spectacular eyeopener if you're curious about more artists in a style you like, or just play songs in a similar vein. Right now, for example - being on the a-ha binge - I'm playing electro/synthpop that sounds like it. Right now it's Duran Duran's "Notorious", going over into "Electricity" by Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark as I speak! Great stuff!
    I am extremely serious.

Yeap; they are unique in the way they fuse sounds, in the way they create those bold and groovy rhythms and their overall sound, a mix of hardcore techno with more easily listenable dance ryhtms, which is pretty unique in core, something you won't find from anyone else. Their sound is both extremely effective, unstoppably energetic and very, very influential. They've associated a whole musical generation to their sound.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
