For one thing, Steven explicitly confirmed in his signature that you are NOT a jerk, which I thought was really nice.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona
Sure, it has some issues, but it hooked me. Visually wonderful - how could it not be, with those beautiful locations and beautiful actors and actresses?
Absolutely adored it; couldn't understand why people are bitter about it.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Bitter?
What's "bitter" got to do with it?
Glad you liked it.
But it's far from being a good movie, or interesting, or well scripted.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Bitter, as in "what is everyone raving about? The actors are soooo boring, Woody Allen has lost it, where's the magic in that" and other relevant repertoire. Well, i am glad i disagree with thatLove Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I've never been a Woody Allen fan at all, so for me there's nothing he has "lost".
Neither has he ever created anything that suggested magic to me. At best, I found him (and his films) entertaining.
At worst annoyingly and irredeemably self-absorbed.
In Vicky Bicky Gugenheimer I find his little mannerisms (especially his "naturalist" faltering, stammering way of speaking) to cross the boundaries of the amusing into the annoying. That it's his schtick, fine (up to a point), but that he actually as a director inflicts it on a couple of actually quite good actors is unbelievably egocentric.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

It is not likely that a film like Dead Snow is gonna be relaesed outside festivals, so I checked it and it is already on DVD. Mr. Torrent did the rest

Am I the only person who doesn't really like and watch horrors, excep some real classics like Omen, The Poltergeist? I can't get into the genre somehow. Only recently I started to READ some stuff, like E. A. Poe.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -
- CommentTimeJul 6th 2009
Nope, I can't stand them. I yawn every time I see a trailer for yet another horror flick. Like you, I'm only interested in the classics. (I LOVE Poltergeist.) -
