I took about 1,500 photos on honeymoon. Most of them are rubbish but I like this one - sunset in the Masai Mara.

I was going to put that plane up as tomorrow's picture, just for you. It was quite an experience flying in that - never been in a small plane before. Very exhilirating!

Those rooms are meant to resemble traditional Masai mud huts.

Loved them! The "exhilarating" part is nice-words for "crapped my pants" i believe? biggrin Seriously, your experienced must have depended on how the weather was (winds?) but generally speaking, i haven't flown such a small plane either and i'd hesitate to, truth to be told; this coming from a plane-geek it's quite odd i know smile The one person i know who's traveled with all kinds of crazy planes through scary situations though is Timmer of course! biggrin

...and James plane looks the same as one I flew on into the Amazon. I got a bit concerned when the pilot and co-pilot pulled out a map and put oxygen masks on.

I suppose the safety announcement was "Welcome to flight....one....today we'll be flying at a height of ten feet, going up to twelve feet, if we see anything big. Your co-pilot today is...a thermos of coffee."

    Gotta love Eddie Izzard.

It is quite different than the large planes.

I remember being on a relatively small "city hopper" in America - with American Eagle (internal AA?). Maybe Demetris could confirm/deny this but I am sure I could see the ground looking down through a gap in the floor (maybe it was just a nightmare memory!?)
