Why do you always want a promo? Surely a CD release would suffice? confused

Yes, it definitely would, only if there had been one. The length of the current album is more than sufficient for me. I mentioned the promo for a lossless quality copy, not for more tracks.

So again, surely just a CD release would suffice?

Yes, a CD release with the same contents as the download only version would suffice 100%. Praying those rumours of international CD releases will come true, even if getting hold of them will be hard!

There are no words sufficient to describe the sheer brilliance of this. Apart from the ones I just used, of course.

The perfect chance for Williams to create some memorable themes and he ballsed it up! Jeez.

    Starship Troopers (Exp.) Basil Poledouris

Another failed sci-fi score. It seems Jablonsky is the only composer worthy of sci-fi films... rolleyes

Totally agree! An exceptionally crappy score.

I might even play that one myself later just to remind myself how crappy it is.

Worse. I had to listen to Up With End Credits several times just to fully get the shitty orchestrations. Hopefully there will be a European CD-release, like Cheri, Coco Avant Chanel and LXG, way back. We sadomasochistic Europeans are more accustomed to crappy music then Americans.

Oh my gosh, this f**king score has redifined the meaning of "crappy"! I just can't get enough of the horrible themes, nauseating orchestrations and terrible action music! Best Original Sh*t of the decade! punk punk punk punk punk

  2. Headhunter (Richard Jacques)

One of the first orchestral videogame scores (2002). And a very inventive one, at that. The theme developments and orchestral bursts of greatness are so well done, you'll wonder what it's doing in a game barely anyone can remember. So it's ballsy action all the way, with rhythmic suspense cues thrown in between to even out the constant onslaught of highly frenetic pounding chase and action music, always revolving around a couple of memorable themes. Shame we haven't heard much from this composer since, because this showed huge potential.
"considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G.
