It would seem that way, easily done when there's the original Tubular Bells plus Tubular Bells II & Tubular Bells III, the re-recorded Tubular Bells and the orchestral Tubular Bells

Marche Slave - Tchaikovsky

Yesterday, i made deep observation and the following are my observation
First you play John Williams' Scherzo for Motorcycle Orchestra
TIME: from 1:40 to 1:50
From 2:10 to 2:15
and then you play Marche Slave by Tchaikovsky
TIME: from 1:10 to 1:30
From 1:50 to 2:00
You will definitely notice that how Maestro beautifully drew the inspiration from greatest composer Tchaikovsky. John Williams had brilliantly inserted those particular seconds of music into his famous Scherzo for Motorcycle Orchestra. This is not plagiarism. This is completely masterpiece work by Maestro. This is the reason why the whole world admires John Williams. He is a very smart and talented composer, who beautifully drew inspirations from classical composers. Moreover, he knows how to use and hide the music. I personally think that whether other composer has this talent or not. But John Williams is really greatest composer of all time.
I hope now you will notice or identify the music i am talking about.

OK, thanks for the time frames. I think I know what you're talking about, it's the undulating figure which is typical of Williams' action music. However, it is also a very common musical figure or "fragment" in any romantic orchestral music, so it's more a musical "tool" that composers make use of rather than a partcularly original feature or melody of any given composer. Rather like a fugue form or pizzicato strings etc.
But if we're going to talk Williams-Tchaikovksy resemblances, I think "Holiday Flight" from HOME ALONE and the "Danse Russe" from THE NUTCRACKER SUITE would be a better example - although one could argue that the similarity is very intentional in this case, to connote a whimsical Christmas spirit.I am extremely serious. -

A lovely summery album (so completely inappropriate for today), but it does make for nice background listening.
