NP: THE ROMANTIC SCHUBERT (Franz Schubert)

Nothing like a little straightforward romantic classicism from a master of the style.

Cornerstone album in the prog/rock/folk genre. Their best, IMO.

NP: LES CHANTS MAGNETIQUES (Jean Michel Jarre)

aka THE MAGNETIC FIELDS, classic 80's album. Cool grooves and textures. It's been a while since I played it, but played to death in my late teens.
    I am extremely serious.

NP: YO YO MA PLAYS THE MUSIC OF JOHN WILLIAMS

The cello concerto, as well as the elegy for cello & orchestra, are really quite romantic - not that dissimilar from his film music a la GEISHA and TIBET.

Just had to play this again. It's not the greatest recording ( no surprise as it's unofficial ) but it's a superb work that I think lends itself to classical orchestration better than Tubuler Bells does.
