Yeap, quite entertaining and easy to watch. The music in it is simply awesome.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

I loved the original REC, hated some snippets of the american remake i've seen. This, rec2, is the spanish sequel, right?

this is indeed the spanish sequel, the american remake is not bad but lacks all the good ingredients of the orignal. The sequel is from the same director, but as said, the tension building is gone and the characters aren't really that strong. But once again, this is top A in production design and effects, absolutely terrific

    Waterworld

Fun adventure movie in a time when stunts were made by real men, and not made by CGI. The story is known but for me it is the cast that makes the movie. Costner is very convincing and his bond with the little child Enola (little child? shocked ) is extremely charming, but also the other cast is cool, with of course the late Dennis Hopper as ultra cool and fun as hell bad guy. Even though it bombed with most critics, this is a fun action packed adventure that is elevated by a truly epic score. Sometimes you need nothing more smile

    7 out of 10

Watch it dude, next thing you know you'll be flamed for having awful taste in films. wink

I like Waterworld too. And why not, it's a well made adventure film with brilliant production values. And not a convoluted storyline in sight.

that's why I bloody posted it punk

Half watching the Goldie Hawn thriller DECEIVED on TV, mostly to hear Thomas Newman's score which is very VERY good, I wish someone would release it.

    Manhunter

Wow! What a great movie! Michael Mann started his style here (even if in the last mohicans he could lost it a litle bit).

An stylish movie, with great performances and much better than his remake.

Brian Cox is a really "cool" hannibal!
  3. It's a great film, even though I'm never sure if the one I saw was the 'definitive' one.

In the book, the 'Tooth Fairy' was built like a professional bodybuilder, perfect for the elements of narcism, in the films both are played by averagely built guys.

I guess bodybuilders don't have much of a reputation for GREAT ACTING SKILLS cheesy

    A-TEAM

If you've seen the series as a child / teen you'll absolutely love it for its light-hearted, full-attack and constant bombast. There's not one dull moment, there's constant airplane's and helicopter's and car's chase and huge ass explosions, all the time. It's not really close to what the a-team did in detail in the a-team series as everything is teched-up, gadgeted-up and to the extreme; but in essence, they still do the same. You'll have a lot of fun, brainless, good old and shamelessly LOUD hollywood fun.

The rest who are not familiar with the a-team series will find it horrid.

The legendary black van is just in for a small cameo in the beginning of the movie which is disappointing really, as the a-team now is mostly airborne which guarantees a lot of unstoppable action but way less style.

The old dead horse of the IRAQ background is there again, but at least with a fresh subject.

    Jessica Biel is INCREDIBLY H.O.T.

Alan Silvestri delivers a score whose main title is a JUDGE DREDD spin-off and otherwise moves between beowulf's underscore and even directly plagiarizes the joker motif from the dark knight, using the same ascending metallic sound in a scene which is also similarly set-up smile The score has a lot of plain but heavy and rhythmic percussion which is the only prominent element in the movie as the rest is mostly very quick and abrupt escorting short character entrance scenes and / or it's either buried underneath the very loud sfx / sound.

As the A-Team brings back some pretty good memories from my youth, I'll look forward to this film.

You were there for the rerun.
I was there the first time around.

  5. You are again right, I don't remember being the reruns but as this is Belgium, everything appears later in this country.

Sadly the new generation will only have this film (and possibly, a couple of sequels) to feel nostalgic about in 20 years time.

    CRACKS

What a wonderfully shot and directed film. Women's anti-poet's society really, all complete with elegance, jealousy, evil plots and killings, and of course lesbo love wink Eva Green acts impressively, a strong movie though, i thought it was wonderful although i don't remember what else that director did, his name doesn't ring any bell. The music by Javier Navarrette is absolutely gorgeous.

Utterly surreal, and one of the episode moments that is most repeated in programs that feature the best (read: "the worst") of eighties' TV programming.

Utterly incredible CGI trailers for upcoming Star Wars games.

No seriously, watch The Force Unleashed II and The Old Republic, and tell me you wouldn't want a full length movie made out of this material. Deliciously twisted and evil, and fiendishly enjoyable to watch. devil

    Anthony Zimmer
A nice little French flick starring Sophie Marceau and Yvan Attal with the often dealt plot of mafia + book keeper + cops + entrapment + love interest. Talgorn's score is a bit like what Desplat would do if he wasn't restrained. I love it!

I shudder at the prospect of the American remake starring Angelina Jolie and a fattened Johnny Depp (The Tourist).

  9. The A-Team

I wanted to see this, my memories from childhood are vivid enough to make me actually go out and see this in the cinema. While it's fun and a good way to spend 2 hours with 4 wise-cracking guys doing the most crazy stunts and acting cool, the story really isn't crazy at all... It's instantly forgettable. I don't think in 25 years time my memories of this flick will be vivid.

Just a standard action comedy like I've seen too many times already. Some of the jokes were good though.
