I'd really like that score were it not for the Indian guy having orgasms half way through some of the tracks.

That's it. Now I'll never again be able to listen to Avatar without thinking of an Indian guy having orgasms, thank you very much.

But there's an Indian guy having orgasms in Avatar too! Guess we found Horner's niche fetish!

Yes, and he's also in Apocalypto! No-one seen him in the credits? 'Special thanks to Indian Orgasm Guy, my special friend who always comes early and leaves too late'?

Awesome, truly AWESOME! ( I haven't heard Lockington's score but I'll bet it sounds weedy in comparison wink )

NP: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York - John Williams

I prefer this score over the original. So many excellent variations on the previously existing themes, great new themes & songs, stunning action material with excellent slap-stick mickey-mousing all wrap around the warmth of the classic Christmas tune "Somewhere in My Memory." The deluxe edition is a brilliant album. I never would have thought that this score would need expansion but I'm glad Varese saw it necessary to do so!

    Also on the docket today...

James Peterson's brilliant THE RED CANVAS
Christopher Gordon's mind blowing MAO'S LAST DANCER
    and John Corigliano's stunning REVOLUTION.

Couldn't agree more! I always play this one over the first score (and even though it's 2 CDs, I think it makes for a much better listen than the first album).

    Stepmom John Williams

My favourite John Williams score to relax to. As a score it's no masterpiece (no slouch either), but as an album I give it my highest rating. Sentimental but never sappy; a trait Williams has shown many a time. Feels somewhat appropriate for the Christmas period too.

    "The Red Canvas"
    James Peterson

One of the year's best. Might go as far to say one of the best scores of the last five years.

NP:The Dark Knight (zimmer and Howard)

    More than meats the ear.

    Sublime Industrial score.

Leaving aside the tracks you know I love, "A little push" is a great dark and opressive track wich remains me Goldsmith music for the mummy (The crypt).

"agent of chaos" is the only track I never can listen (Howard playing to be Zimmer, no please).

"A Dark Knight" is probably my all time favourite Zimmer track.

Not cool because you spelled MEET wrong. And then you proceeded to compare The Dark Knight to The Mummy. Come on, man!

Indeed. Check out the 2009 score to "PUCCINI" composed by Marco Frisina (or Frisna?) if you liked Rombi. Pretty much on the same league of sweeping, string-led, thematic orchestral music.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
