I never realized there were so much John Barry-style long-string writing in the score. Classes up this score a bunch in between the action cues. And the album, the complete edition, is the best version of the score. Not one moment wasted. A modern masterpiece for me.
And I still haven't open the packaging yet. -

I tried Giacchino's Lost: Season 4 and didn't want anything to do with it after "Maternity Hell." I still think Giacchino's best season of LOST was the first.
I've now moved onto yet another all time great scores...

Some very nice music hidden within here. I am especially liking the piano/more romantic music. I don't listen to it often, but for some reason I am enjoying it a lot more this time around. -

Nothing too interesting. Just multiple 1 minute videos on the same time line all edited ready to be exported.

Yeap, that's a good reason too, very plausible. But won't they let composers provide such scores nevertheless? Would it be too much then, they afraid? Or are the composers not into that kind of stuff anymore....
Why are we worried about a movie like Clash of the Titans having a score like it had? It really wasn't that good a movie, it won't win any Oscars, and will probably sit in video rental stores for years to come. I highly doubt any fans will promote it as their favourite score.
A bad film is no excuse for a bad score. In fact, a bad film is a damn good reason to have a good score. -
