    NP: Sky High - Giacchino

It's not one of Giacchino's very best, but its tons of fun punk
I love you all. Never change. Well, unless you want to!

The choral stuff during the big action finale is fantastic! Listen carefully because Michael incorporated one of kids names (Griffin) and one of the directors kids names (Ollie) in the chorus lyrics!

The Bucket List - Marc Shaiman (Good)
    Alive - JNH (Good)
    Beetlejuice - Danny Elfman (Good)

Desplat can write good action music after all. Whoo hoo... biggrin

Try Largo Winch. Firewall is mostly suspense music.

NP: [Kung Fu Kid - James Horner]

Finally saw this movie, and the score is pretty good in the movie. Because of that, I'll have to re-listen to this one a couple more time.

I'm hugely unimpressed by these scores. I haven't seen Largo Winch (and I probably won't) but Firewall is pretty annoying most of the time, in and out of the movie.

Firewall is a bit dull imo, but Largo Winch (and Hostage) are my two favourite Desplat scores.

I'm currently playing streamingsoundtracks.com. It's a good way to get introduced to new music. It's bloody annoying though when people queue up pop and musical songs, since there must exist a million radio stations for pop songs, and only a couple for film scores.

Well ... to be fair ... if he was constantly posting about playing something GOOD, like say "The Great Escape", you wouldn't be asking him that...
