I think this is the first time I've ever seen David Arnold at the keyboard actually writing.
Consider me pumped! Can't wait until the CD is released.
Same here, this is going to be mammoth!
Imagine if there was a movie with mammoths in it and David Arnold was scoring it... Cause 10,000BC was lame!!!!!! -

10,000 bc is one of the worst movies I ever seen (the first place is for battlefield Earth). it is more near to be a comedy than the dramatic movie Emmerich is trying to do.
I will watch again, because is this kind of bad movies that you doesn't stop to laugh. (battlefield Earth was boring...so at least 10,000 works in this leven )
PS: i have to say I enjoyed ID4 or The Day after Tomorrow. I thought Emerich was a guy with a great sense of humour and autoparodity but when I read the commentaries in this 2 movies I said above, i was scared because he really believes in what he is doing...)

Why do I have the feeling that the phrase 'another way to die' will appear in the film in an exchange like this:
Bond: Why did you let me live, and take her?
Villain: There are many ways to die, Mr Bond. Staying alive is only one of them.
oh Michael, you know what that sounds like, don't you?
Hint: A.F.!!!! -

I saw the soundtrack of Quantum of Solace in a music store today and I didn't asked but I'm about 95% sure that the music was playing at the same time. It wasn't a very promising first listen i'm afraid. The action music that I heard was more of the same (especially like Miami International from Casino Royale) and the rest was bland suspense music. And I couldn't hear any new themes. I'm still hoping though... -

^ Yeap, what i am saying. A couple more action cues and constant, boring underscore. Miss.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I really like it. I enjoyed it on my first listen, but it's grown on me even more. -

I think overall it's a really hit and miss album. There are some nice action cues, but some like "Pursuit At Port Au Prince" that just descend into awfulness because they try too hard to do too much. -

Really? I LOVE that cue. That two minute power anthem part is amazing. -

I'm with you. For some reason I find a really enjoyable album (Much more than Casino Royale, overall I mean. Casino royale is a better score of course)
I know this discussion is very old, but How much of David Arnold Is from Nicholas Dodd???
----------------------------
Being listened Kull or Sahara where not only the orchestration but even some minor action motifs are directly ripped from Arnold's Bond scores, I ask How important is Nicholas Dood??? is he a real co-composer? -

Yeah, the power anthem part is what I don't like. It's just too over the top, even for James Bond. -
