    alcoholism is a horrible disease that kills far too many people. Never goes on the death certificate as such but heart attacks, strokes, car accidents, are really alcoholic deaths. glad your ok thor.

    There isn't one person here who doesn't know the answer to the hangover cure. I find it amusing in a way at all of the things we try. Would we go to this extreme if we had strawberries dipped in chocolate the night before. Somehow I think we'd just avoid and there would be no problem. <blatant spam removed by your friendly neighbourhood mod>

    My best cure is a glass of salt water just before I got to bed, and a couple of ibuprofen tablets. It's not a guaranteed success, but it usually helps quell the severity of my headache in the morning...

    I think you lose a lot of salt when you're drunk through your pee... so I top myself up with extra salt and lots of water (and drugs), and it seems to numb the effects quite noticeably! (At least for me it does.)

    I don't drink, or when I do, I drink really lots of water (at least 1l). Even though I might have to pee during the night, at least my day after is a happy day.

    My hangovers aren't because of an extreme excess of drinking surprisingly, I just suffer from them quite badly if I have two or more drinks usually. Doesn't take much for me to get a headache. (Which is NOT the same as saying I'm a lightweight! More middleweight I'd say. wink))

    I've driven many a time while drunk, and probably will continue to do so for a long time.

    Granted, this is on the PS3. But it's still pretty hardcore, right?
