The end of Schmerzen is by far one of the most epic things I've heard from him.

ALBERTO IGLESIAS - los abrazos rotos
I am addicted to the romantically noir and sometimes dark nature of this score. Iglesias never fails to capture my utmost interest.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Medal of Honor: Frontline
The use of the choir enhances it in many ways.
That young castrato still blows me away every time.
Arnhem captures those events and men so well. -

In utter agreement
MOH is da bomb !!! But in total contract with my current listening:
To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday (James Horner)
Lovely, intimate piano driven score, much like his recent 'The Boy with the Stripes Pyjamas'. A nice enough listen but not something I put on regularly, I'm just rarely in the mood for such low-key material."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

NP: Dinosaur - JNH
RIP: good amount and quality of film score releases from Disney movies
Anyway good score this is. I didn't like the movie and not all the cues impressed me, but still it has some great cues... Egg Travels first of all!

The movie wasn't great, agreed, but the visuals were STUNNING! Especially the opening scene.
JNH's score is absolutely fantastic, no less! -

Yeah opening scene was stunning... but in the rest of the movie I couldn't stand that too-realistic CGI dinosaurs talking!
They should have re-watched Bambi or The Lion King to learn how to design animal characters having human emotions! Those are two of the best examples of blending realistic animal anatomy AND anthropomorphic facial expressions.
Still Playing: Talking Dinos
I enjoy Lebo M's African choir stuff on The Courtship, but it's not as strong as other works from him, and I think Across The Dessert could be better without African voices.
Also I have no idea why those dinosaurs has anything to do with South Africa

NP: Raiders Of The Lost Ark (Concorde box set) - John Williams
There are some scores which will remain classics even if they get 100 years old, and this is one of them. Great music, great sound quality, excellent listening experience! -

What happens when they become 200 years old? Do they stop becoming classics?

Kronos Unveiled. 'Nuff said.
Fantastic track
Familiar with any Barry William?
Not much. All I have by him is Somewhere In Time, though I've heard Kronos Unveiled was inspired by a cue of his.
Very much Capsule In Space from You Only Live Twice. Other parts of Giacchino's The Incredibles have designs from Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Barry's recurring Bond tune ( since From Russia With Love ) '007'.
You should try checking the above scores out.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Funny, I'm listening to this one now!
BUT, I finally took the plunge and downloaded the "complete" version of this - and it contains so much that makes this great original CD even better! The nods to Alexander Courage's original theme, other subtle hints to the original series music...
I really hope that this gets an expanded official release sometime soon. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -
