There are some scores which will remain classics even if they get 100 years old, and this is one of them. Great music, great sound quality, excellent listening experience!

I'll stick with the DCC release because it contains the unedited version of Desert Chase.

    Me too. cool

I saw the Raiders box set going very cheaply in a store this morning, only £14.99. That's approximately £3.75 per score shocked

24 Seasons 1-3/24 Seasons 4 and 5 (or should I say season 2, season 3, season 4, season 5 and the video game) - SEAN CALLERY

The music from 24: The Game is miles above a lot of music in the show, and I think the simple reason is because they gave Sean Callery the budget to record with an orchestra. If you don't like synths a lot of the other tracks can be quite jarring, and if you don't watch the show you probably wouldn't be listening to this anyway. tongue But I like it! cool

I was playing :The Dark Knight

    A good industrial sound score.

" A Dark Knight" and "why so serious" fits the movie perfectly. A dark, opressive and tehnologic city.

Anyway, I would loved more "techno" than this weird sound dessign.

    NP:Italian Job (powell)

I love the chill out sound + electric guitar /noisy electronics Combo.

The last score where powell was still playing with MV old elements.

    Brilliant!

    Anyway,

    Angels & Demons Hans Zimmer

Starting to like it a bit more having now seen the movie. I'm obviously very fickle.

I liked it from the beginning, even before i saw the movie; but after that especially, and after several listens on HIGH VOLUME i absolutely loved it; i am confident you will too! 'Cause you seem like someone who simply focuses on "enjoying" no matter what and i think there's a lot to enjoy in there! What did you think of the movie btw?

The movie? Hmm, entertaining enough. Silly and over the top in many places, but enjoyable fluff nonetheless. (I doubt I'll ever have the urge to see it again though.)

The score was very entertaining in the movie, I have to admit. These things definitely work better in the cinema.

What I wouldn't give to hear 'Closing in on Marwan' with a real orchestra...

NP: THE AVENGERS - JOEL MCNEELY

"Flight Of The Mechanical Bees" is a frikkin' awesome action cue. punk cool
  1. NP: Perfume: Story of a Murderer (Tykwer/Klimek/Heil)

Frankly speaking, this one does not hold up well on revisiting. What was I smoking back when I thought this was top stuff? It does have it's moments, but Simon Rattle must have conducted it in his sleep.

  2. NP: The Possibility of the Island (Nitsckhe)

Even if it is a clumsy English translation or whatever, I find it cool that there's a big sci-fi film out there called... THE POSSIBILITY OF AN ISLAND!

Now taking names for a sequel: THE PROBABILITY OF A MOUNTAIN is mine. wink
