And not one person mentioned the astoundingly excellent CROSSED SWORDS. And still available from FSM. Do yourself a favour Gt, it really is a fantastic score.

The sweepingly romantic and beautiful way some men like him, Mark McKenzie or Philippe Rombi score their movies never fails to impress and capture me entirely.
Demetris! Whoah! Where did you get this? I've been looking for it for a long while
It's not on CD if that's what you're asking for, i couldn't find a CD; it's gorgeous!Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

One of the most inspired, colorful and exotic film scores i've heard in years.
I just saw it few days ago, loved it, both movie and score. I loved both the sound of Afganistan (I think) instruments in upbeat scenes and tender western guitars & strings in quiet scenes.

I haven't seen the film or heard the score yet, but I listened to the book as read by the author himself, and that was a fascinating and engaging experience.I love you all. Never change. Well, unless you want to! -

Ghost Rider (Christopher Young)
If it were not for the main theme, this score would've been totally forgettable. It's what saves it from the depths of oblivion. High on rock influences, guitar riffs and drums, I don't think they blend too well with the orchestra and choir. Maybe it's the melodies that don't lend themselves well too the guitars, or maybe they're just poorly used. Hey, I love rock music, but here the added effect just doesn't do the score any favors. But still Young manages to make it all relatively listenable (especially in the rock-less cues), the overal quality just ain't anywhere near his more inspired works."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

It is a great theme and makes the score memorable.
Personally, I'll have a soft spot for this theme as I associate this with first hearing it at SONCINEMAD when Chris Young showed a rough-cut of the movie with the first track on the CD(?)The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

I was surprised how well it sounded in the movie, but I think a suite of this score suffices

Don't smoke even if it's a very directorial habit (lots of directors smoke, I noticed). If you want cigars, Ridley Scott can have a word or two about that.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

What kind of musical style is the score for "Benny & Joon"?The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

It just doesn't click with me as well as some of his other work, for the reasons that I stated earlier. It's not one I return to often, as I have it for about 1.5 years, and this must have been only my 3rd listen I think."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -
